Who Is the WF802S Designed For?
The WF802S is intended for workshops processing repeat straight-edged furniture components. It offers more glue capacity than small compact banders and combines the core finishing steps in one feed path without the footprint of a long industrial edge banding line.
The machine automates the in-line sequence, but it is not unattended production. An operator still loads, supports and unloads the panel, selects the correct settings and inspects the finished edge.
A practical choice for
• Custom cabinet and wardrobe manufacturers
• Panel furniture and shelving workshops
• Small and medium batch production
• Factories upgrading from manual edge banding
• Workshops processing panels up to a stated 50 mm height
• Buyers who value a larger glue pot and integrated finishing
Choose another configuration if you need
• Curved, round or irregular edge banding
• Pre-milling before glue application
• A dedicated scraping station
• Automatic rounding of all four workpiece corners
• A confirmed PUR or zero-joint glue system
• High-volume industrial production with a long station sequence
What the WF802S Does in One Pass
The WF802S combines the main straight-edge operations in one working path. The goal is to reduce repeated handling and separate hand finishing while keeping daily adjustment accessible to a small or medium workshop.
1. Feed the tape and apply adhesive
The 4,000 ml glue pot is designed for longer production intervals between refills. The product material states a 5-10 minute heating time, but the operator must still follow the adhesive manufacturer's working temperature and open-time requirements.
2. Guide and press the panel
An in-feed limit rod and clear scale help position the workpiece. The double-row inclined pressure rollers and guide-rail blocks are designed to keep straight panels parallel through the feed path.
3. Apply secondary elastic pressure
A secondary pressing device helps maintain contact between the tape and glued edge. Pressure must be matched to the panel and tape rather than left at one setting for every material.
4. Cut the leading and trailing tape
The automatic front and rear trimming section removes the end overhang. A square panel, stable feed and correct sensor or limit position are still required for a clean cut.
5. Trim the upper and lower profile
The double-side trimming section removes tape above and below the panel surface. Cutter sharpness, tracking adjustment and the selected radius influence the finished profile.
6. Polish both sides and extract debris
Cross-type polishing helps remove light residue and tool marks, while enclosed ducts collect chips around the trimming area. Extraction improves cleanliness but does not replace routine cleaning.
Why the 4,000 ml Glue Pot Matters
A larger glue pot can reduce refill frequency during repeated production. This is most useful when the workshop processes similar materials for longer runs and maintains a controlled adhesive routine.
More capacity does not automatically improve the glue line. Adhesive age, contamination, temperature stability and shutdown procedures remain important. If the buyer requires PUR, the glue system must be confirmed in writing; a large heated pot alone does not prove PUR compatibility.
Stable Feeding with Double-Row Pressure Rollers
The inclined double-row roller structure shown in the product images is intended to hold the panel against the guide while it travels through the machine. Stable parallel feeding supports more consistent end trimming and upper/lower trimming.
The system cannot correct a warped panel or an out-of-square sawn edge. Guides, roller pressure and support surfaces should be checked whenever material thickness or workpiece size changes.
Precision Adjustment for Repeat Production
The visible scale ruler and in-feed limit rod make adjustment easier to repeat after a material change. Operators should record the final settings for each combination of panel, tape, adhesive and cutter profile rather than relying on memory.
Processing Panels up to 50 mm: What to Confirm
The supplied product material lists an edge banding height of 0-50 mm and describes 50 mm thick-board processing. For publication, it is safer to state 'up to 50 mm' and confirm the practical minimum thickness in the final technical sheet.
Thick panels increase the importance of workpiece weight, support, tape width, glue coverage and cutter setup. Send the thickest actual panel for a continuous sample test before ordering.

The values above are taken from the supplied WF802S product images. The final quotation, nameplate, electrical drawing, technical agreement and packing list should govern the delivered configuration.
The supplied images show a 1,350 mm main cabinet, 300 mm support plates and a separate stated table size of 1,550 x 550 x 1,200 mm. Confirm whether the published size refers to the machine body, working table, supports or shipping configuration.
Voltage, frequency, phase, air pressure, feed speed, edge-tape thickness, minimum panel dimensions and packed weight were not shown and should be confirmed before publication or quotation.
Panel and Edge Tape Compatibility
The WF802S should be positioned as a straight-panel machine for cabinet and furniture components. Typical panels may include MDF, particleboard, plywood, blockboard and laminated wood-based panels.
PVC and melamine edge tape are common in this category, but the supplied images do not state the supported tape thickness or material range. ABS, veneer, acrylic and thicker tapes should be verified with a data sheet and sample test.
Do not advertise curved-panel capability from these images. The feed and guide system shown is designed around straight edges.
What Controls the Finished Edge Quality?
A square, clean panel edge
No pre-milling station is shown. Saw marks, chips or an out-of-square edge may remain visible after banding.
Adhesive at the correct working condition
Temperature, viscosity, open time and compatibility affect glue coverage and bond strength.
Correct guide and pressure settings
Uneven pressure can create gaps, disturb the glue line or cause the workpiece to feed off line.
Sharp cutters matched to the profile
Dull or incorrect cutters can leave projection, chatter or surface damage beside the edge.
Clean polishing wheels and extraction paths
Glue and dust build-up can transfer marks back to the panel and reduce extraction performance.
Before shipment, request a continuous test using your own panel, edge tape and adhesive. Several consecutive workpieces provide better evidence than one selected sample.
• The complete feed from entry to exit
• Both automatic end cuts in close-up
• Upper and lower trimmed profiles
• The glue line under direct light
• The thickest panel you intend to process
• Control settings and extraction connections used
A Practical First-Run Setup
1. Confirm destination voltage, frequency, phase, plug type, rated power and air requirements.
2. Check panel dimensions and weight against the final technical sheet.
3. Confirm tape material, width and thickness plus the adhesive specification.
4. Inspect the panel edge for chips, dust and out-of-square cutting.
5. Set the in-feed limit, guide height, roller pressure, cutter tracking and support plates.
6. Heat the adhesive to the manufacturer's recommended working condition.
7. Run the first panel conservatively and observe each cutting and polishing station.
8. Inspect both ends, both faces, the glue line and decorative surfaces.
9. Record a repeatable setup for each material combination.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the WF802S fully automatic?
It automates the straight-feed banding, pressing, front/rear trimming, upper/lower trimming and polishing sequence. An operator still loads, supports and unloads the panel, adjusts the machine and inspects the result.
Can it process 50 mm thick panels?
The supplied material states a maximum edge banding height of 50 mm. Send the actual thickest workpiece for testing because weight, support, tape width and cutter setup also affect suitability.
What is the benefit of the 4,000 ml glue pot?
It can reduce refill frequency during repeated production. Glue condition and cleaning procedures remain important, and PUR compatibility is not confirmed by capacity alone.
Can it process curved panels?
The supplied images show a straight-feed machine. Curved or irregular capability is not confirmed.
